I did test the Lisbon metro map on various viewers I had: okular (poppler library), firefox with PDF.js, chromium with PDF.js and chromium with google pdf plugin. firefox with PDF.js is by far the slowest, okular and chromium PDF.js give more or less a similar user experience, and the google pdf plugin is the fastest of the four.
